Video marketing helps businesses boost engagement in a way no other means of communication can. Keeping in touch with your audience is so vital that one must always ensure that communication lines are always open .
I have found video to be such a great tool in engaging with your audience. I find that it's instant, it enables you form a view very quickly and for good marketers, to build trust with their audience.
I haven’t posted emails or blog posts for weeks and I’m feeling like the longer it takes for me to post, the more I’ll get disconnected from my audience and eventually lose everyone and start from scratch. A real fear I have to say. But like all fears, they have to be confronted head on and conquered. So here I am, facing mine head on and conquering it.
You’ll probably ask me why I haven’t posted messages or blogged for so long. It’s a long story. But the bottom line is I have been quite busy behind the scenes working on loads of stuff. In due course, I will be sharing with you what I have been working on in due course. So please keep an eye out
Sometimes you may wonder if you are reaching enough people or whether or not your posts are getting through to those you are trying to connect with.
Don’t get me wrong, I get a lot of positive feedback. Here’s a screen shot of a message I received on Facebook the other day. I have to say, ‘it felt quite good actually'. It put a smile on my face and left a warm glow inside. Tell me - who doesn’t like being valued or acknowledged? It’s part of the ‘human condition' I suppose.
It just goes to show that sometimes, you may think that people are not noticing your work or you’re not connecting with the folks you’re trying to reach. When affirmation of this nature comes along, it encourages you to keep going.
Video Marketing Stats
The stats for the effectiveness of video as a marketing tool are simply too amazing to be ignored. They are simply staggering. For example Hubspot quoting YouTube reports that mobile video consumption rises 100% year on year. In addition, after watching a video, 64% of viewers are likely to go on and buy the product online. For you as a business owner, including video on a landing page can increase conversion by up to 80%

I have given video a few tries and I am pleased with what I have done so far. I just need to be a lot more consistent. I am working on that element right now.
